If you are interested in becoming a trip member, you will need to submit an application. After the application cycle closes, you will be notified if you are invited to an interview. After all interviews, we will select trip members.

The 2024 application is now open! Please click on "Member Application" above and submit it by 11:59 PM on 9/6/2024. 

There are three groups of members--Board Members, Trip Members, and General Members. Board Members help organize the trip, run the club, and fundraise for medical supplies for the service trip. Trip Members that go on the summer service trip to host the mobile health clinics alongside healthcare professionals. Required to pay the deposit + flight expenses and help fundraise for medical supplies throughout the year. General Members want to help out and stay involved. Great way to be involved especially if you are interested in applying to be a trip member in the future. Associate Members: Members from previous trips that still want to help out and be involved.

The application cycle is at the beginning of each fall semester. The 2023 application is now closed.

Aside from all the fundraising and preparations we do, we recognize the importance of getting to know fellow VMO members (especially your trip mates)! Bondings are a fun and easy way to get to know the people you'll be fundraising and spending your trip with!
